10 tips to attract more visitors to your website or blog
FOR A COMMUNITY MANAGER, THE JUNE 3RD, 2012
Any blogger wants his blog to be successful: receiving hundreds of visitors every day, to be invited to events, reach new customers, major companies being called to work, that brands want to advertise on it ... But this is not easy.

As in any media, success is measured in terms of audience. The more visitors you have a blog, more successful, therefore, better. And if those visits end up generating economic benefits, all the better.

In future posts we'll talk about how to make money with a blog. But first we must succeed in attracting visitors. That is why we will discuss various means of optimizing blogs that will help.

How to increase traffic to our website?

1 Through search engines. And we accomplish this by optimizing our SEO page as parameters. Try to appear the first by the search terms related to our site.
2Logrando other websites or blogs that link to ours. This is what is known as link builing. This technique will also help us improve our SEO.
3 Improving the usability of the blog. This will help us mainly because the average length of each visit is higher. The goal is that once the user is on our blog, you can find other items of interest by different routes: Related posts, latest posts, the most read, internal search engines ...
4 Generating discussion forum discussions around the theme of our last post. The professional social network LinkedIn, among its other functions, allows us to participate in discussion groups. They can open discussions related to the topic of our post and indicate that our view also discussed in our blog.
5 Adding social media plugings entries for sharing on the major social networks.
6 Creating "satellites" blog on other social networks. That is, creating her a fan page, a page on Google+ or Twitter account. In these as well as linking our items, we can share articles from other blogs that are of interest to us.
7 Share in Twitter posts and tagging them with hashtag, Facebook group or on other blogs and participating in forums. But eye! Be safe, might cross you off spam.
8 Creating headlines "advertising" to arouse the reader's interest. But yes, see that the post meets the expectations.
9 Trend Tropics Leveraging Twitter to share related content. For example, if the day of the community managers and that day is TT # CommunityManager, seize and share the post I wrote at the time explaining what a community manager. Of course, not a matter of trying to put our message in any TT. Again we would be saved in the spam.
10 Creating interesting content. Although the last point, it is certainly the most important. In a blog or web page content is king. Never you copy and paste content from other, both Google and your potential readers will be penalized.
These are just 10 ideas that can help us grow our audience see but sure know more. What other ways do you think that help achieve more visits to a web site or blog? What do you do to attract more visitors to your website?
